Sasha Velour art directed the cover shoot for the 7th Issue of DOG magazine, which starred Velour’s Italian Greyhound, Vanya! She also designed and art directed the accompanying multi-page photoshoot shot by frequent collaborator Mettie Ostrowski. The photos are accompanied by a profile of Velour written by Amanda Feinman in which Velour discussed postponing the ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ tour due to COVID, heartfelt reflections on gender, fluidity and fame, and the challenges of nurturing creativity in lockdown.
